About Me

I am Lalitha Prakash, Programmer by profession and writer by passion. I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge.  I love this LIFE, this UNIVERSE, so full of enigma, so full of knowledge. I want to grasp as many subjects, spheres of Life  as possible. Whereas in the kitchen I want to know why wheat flour and maida, both  made from wheat grain, are so different in taste and quality and what differentiates them, from the bark of which herb is  asafoetida dried and brought into our kitchen, how is sabudana or sabbakki made, in my study I want to learn how does a chip in a computer function, what is cloud in cloud computing, and I would love to read about little known aspects of Bill Gates or Michael Johnson’s lives or how were Sunitha William’s days spent up there in space.

And I love to write about what I read, about my experiences in Life, about my favorite subjects viz. Arts, Maths, Computers, Philosophy, Health and Diet, Cooking – the Best and the most fulfilling form of all the Creative Arts, Gardening, my pet Dog Pogo, my children and about the rich and vibrant culture and Festivals of My great Nation – India. Writing necessitates reading – it is like trying to gather the water in the ocean with your hands – “The sea is emotion incarnate. It loves, hates, and weeps. It defies all attempts to capture it with words and rejects all shackles. No matter what you say about it, there is always that which you can’t.” -Christopher Paolini – and so is Life.

And this is a sincere attempt to write and share, to make an interesting and fulfilling as well as a relaxing reading. If you like what you read, tell others and share. If you don’t, tell me – I will make amends.

Love and Peace !

  2. I’ve always wondered about the differences between the two all i know is that the dravidians are an older culture you will have to tell me the whole story in an email or post because the comment box is too small. But if you get a chance please do 🙂
